Notes - Simple notepad, memo

A straightforward place for quick notes

Notes - Simple notepad, memo is a compact Android note-taking app for writing short memos, reminders, checklists, shopping lists, and other everyday information. It suits people who want to open an app, type something down, and return to it later without working through a large productivity system.

Useful features without a busy layout

The app keeps note creation simple, while adding a few practical ways to manage what you write. Notes can be assigned one of six colors, making it easier to distinguish personal reminders from errands or work tasks at a glance. Autosave helps preserve text as it is entered, and swipe actions provide a quick way to manage notes.

• Home-screen widgets: Check longer notes and lists without opening the app.
• Color organization: Use six visual categories to separate different types of memo.
• Sharing: Send a memo to other apps when a note needs to be passed on.
• Dark mode: Keep the interface more comfortable in low-light conditions.

Why it belongs on a short list

This is a focused tool rather than an all-purpose workspace. Its value comes from reducing the distance between remembering something and recording it. The clean structure makes it a reasonable fit for users who prefer simple lists and brief notes over folders, databases, or elaborate formatting.

Track record

Developed by Komorebi Inc., the app has reached 5,000,000+ installs and holds a 4.88 rating from 222,493 reviews. Those figures point to a note-taking utility that has found a broad audience while staying close to its basic purpose.
